This weekend, 4 Iceland and 3 Glaucous Gulls were around Peterhead. This post shows most of these individuals.

2 cy Glaucous. A pale, now rather worn bird. This bird has become progressively paler during its extended stay; when it first arrived it was considerably darker and more chevroned than now.

Hi Chris,
I saw both of those 2cy Glaucs next to eachother on a roof on Sunday evening and was struck by the incredible contrast between two birds of the same age. I think the dark bird is especially dark, and the light one especially pale.
I saw the adult Iceland at the harbour entrance as well - it seemed to have a damaged wing.
