This beauty was present yesterday afternoon. It is at the paler end of the Kumlien's range -formally, it has what can be described as 'stage 1' primary pigmentation (Howell and Mactavish, 2003). Its eye is slightly cloudy and its upperpart grey tone fractionally darker than a
glaucoides.
